The Loko guard spoke about the result in Astana and the team’s aspirit towards Yenisei.
- What happened to Loko at the beginning of the game against Astana?
- We played bad from the start. Perhaps these were echoes of past defeats – we came out without energy and seemed not ready to play. But we knew that we were stronger, that the game would be long and we would definitely catch up and overtake our opponent.
- What can you say about Yenisei?
- They have mostly Russian roster, many of the guys know us, and we know them. It's a team that listens to its coach. Also, they have no obvious leader. You never know who of them will score the most points at one game. I think this is the strong point, when everyone who goes on the court is dangerous.
- What should you do to defeat them?
- It won't be easy. As Andrey Vladimirovich [Vedishchev] said, this team plays at home with extra energy. In addition, they won the last match against MBA-MAI, and I think that gave them confidence. Everything will depend on us: on how we start the game, how we go on, and how much of a team we act.
