The game was interesting, with good tension, with overtime. The opponent is very experienced, they read the game well, catch fouls. It is useful for us to play with such a team. It was not easy, and I am glad that the victory is ours.
We did not play ideally: the shot percentage was low, a lot of decisions wasn't right. Maybe this is due to the fact that many of us are loaded after the VTB United League games. Our team had only one playing training session, the rest were spent on tactics. It was felt, especially at the start: we were running, somehow trying to help, but with no coherence. In the 4th quarter, we finally found the clue and turned the tide of the match – with rebounds, good defense, good throws at the right moments.
It's great that the Russian team has the opportunity to stay in shape with the help of such games.
