Three Loko players help our reserve team smash Uralmash

Vladislav Yemchenko, Andrey Martyuk and Mikhail Vedishchev played for ORSS-Loko against Uralmash in the first quarterfinal game in the Russian Cup. Our reserves won with a good margin – 89:64.

Vladislav Yemchenko was in the starting five and became the top scorer of the game: 20 points, 7 assists, 4 steals.

Andrey Martyuk scored 16 points, including one 3-pointer.

Mikhail Vedishchev also scored 16 points. In the last minute of the game, he scored two 3-pointers in a row, making the margin comfortable – “+25”. Now “ORSS-Lokomotiv-Kuban” (where ORSS stands for “Olympic reserve sports school”) must defend this gap in the second game on January 22 to reach the Final Four.

Daniil Kasko deserves a special mention – he started the season in “ORSS-Loko”, but has been playing for the main team since mid-December. In this game, he scored 3 points, made 10 rebounds and became the best on the team in plus-minus (+20).
