The American forward successfully passed all medical examinations and is now preparing for Friday's game against CSKA along with other Lokomotiv Kuban players.
- How do you spend your time after the injury?
- Just really trying to get healthy. I haven't played since January 18th. It's probably the longest I've been without playing basketball, so it feels good just to get out there and play basketball again and get out there with the guys.
- There's a lot of new faces in Loko. Did you know someone before?
- Most of the new foreigners I already knew from previous years, Jeremiah [Martin] was my teammate like five years ago, at the Long Island Nets. New Russians, I'm getting to know them, but all the guys out there are good guys, so they're making it kind of easy for me to get comfortable and get situated with the team.
- Did you already have a talk with the coach about your role in the team?
- Not yet, but I think everybody in this organization knows what I can do, and they just want me to be out there and be myself, and I'll help the team win in any way possible.
- Are you ready to play against CSKA on Friday?
- I feel good, but it's the coach's decision.
- What can you say about CSKA?
- They're one of the most known teams, not only in Russia, but in Europe, so we know what to expect. We know they're going to play hard. We know they're going to play the CSKA style of basketball, so we just have to focus on what we can control and do our best.
