Against Pari NN (112:72), the Qatari-Montenegrin center returned to play after a 20-day absence and scored 13 points in 14 minutes.
- How did you feel while you were forced to miss games?
- It was bad. The guys were fighting, and I had to watch from the sidelines. I don't think any player enjoys that kind of thing. But I knew I had to be patient to fully recover. Thanks to the medical staff for doing everything they could to get me back playing as quickly as possible.
- What helped Loko achieve such a big win today?
- Team chemistry. Everyone fought for each other from the start, worked hard on defense, and followed the coach's instructions. I'm very happy that all 12 of our players on the roster scored points today. This shows how good we were as a team.
- There were a lot of showtime today: behind-the-back passes, dunks. Even Jeremiah Martin dunked, which he doesn't usually do. What was the reason for such a spectacular performance?
- As a center, I really respect dunks. They give energy to the team, make a feast of the game, and the fans feel happy. Today, we gave energy to the stands, and then the stands gave energy to us–and there were even more. as you said, showtime. It's great that we pleased the people who always cheer for us so well.
- Why do you think you managed to integrate into the team so quickly?
- I don't know, maybe it's because I'm always in a good mood (laughs). But the thing is, I've been really welcomed at Lokomotiv since day one – the other players and I talk a lot, joke around. It's all worked out really well with the chemistry on the court.
