It was a true playoff game. Our opponent is a team with character, as they've proven throughout the season. But we have character too, and I'm glad we showed it at the most crucial moment.
In the 3rd quarter, we allowed BETCITY PARMA to score a lot of easy points in quick transitions, which we certainly need to correct. Also, they scored several very difficult, contested basket, proving their high level. So I'm proud of how we fought hard, and remained a team even in bad moments.
It's just the beginning; there's no reason to celebrate yet. We need to remain humble, recover properly, tweak a few details, and go into the next game fully prepared. There's no reason to doubt that BETCITY PARMA will show some reaction to today's result. We also need to react correctly. When both teams know each other inside and out, the details become decisive. The advantage goes to whoever plays better as a team. There are certain things that need to be done to the best of their abilities: contact, box-out, fighting for 50-50 balls. That's what I'll be demanding from the team in the second game.
