The Lokomotiv Kuban forward scored 8 points in the victory over Zenit (91:85), which leveled the bronze-medal series at 2–2.
- Congratulations on a very important victory! How did you find today's game?
- The series is tied at 2–2, so I’ll say briefly: all the fans should head to St. Petersburg, and those already there should definitely come out on June 12 to support us—we’re going to win.
- Was there any tension in the final minutes when Zenit's deficit was cut to 5 points?
- No, there was no nervousness at all; I had no doubt we would lead the game through to a win.
- Was there any special motivation today?
- We are always motivated. As for today, many thought we were the underdogs and wouldn't bounce back from an 0–2 deficit, but we proved otherwise—the series is tied at 2–2, and we’re heading too St. Petersburg for a deciding game. I’ll say it again: the fans are our true sixth player. Thank them for the tremendous support during the games in Krasnodar. We look forward to hearing your support in St. Petersburg on the 12th.
