After beating Zenit 84:76 in the decisive game for 3rd place, Lokomotiv Kuban wins the series 3-2!
This is our team’s second VTB United League bronze medal, the first coming in the 2014/15 season.
Lokomotiv Kuban also has two sets of VTB United League silver medals (2012/13 and 2022/23).
That is our first victorious series against Zenit in the playoffs (previously, there was four losses).
For the first time ever, Lokomotiv has won the series after trailing two games.
