Welcome, Gleb!

Center Gleb Firsov has joined Lokomotiv Kuban PBC roster. The agreement was signed under a 3+2 scheme.

Firsov is a product of Rostov-on-Don and Perm basketball. He made his VTB United League debut in 2023, and the 2025/26 season proved to be his breakout one. In February, Gleb set a VTB United League record for efficiency rating among Russian players (46 points), then played in the 2026 All-Star Game, and finally was shortlisted for the League’s best young player following the regular season.

The center spent last season with BETCITY PARMA. In 39 league games, he averaged 9.8 points, 5 rebounds, 1.1 blocks, and 17.5 minutes per game.

I'm very pleased that Lokomotiv's management was able to secure the transfer of Firsov, one of Russia's most talented youngsters. We set the highest goals for ourselves, and so we need players who combine talent with a desire to work hard on their own development. I'm sure Gleb understands this perfectly, and I'm very optimistic about his prospects on our team.
