The VTB United League has published a Top 10 of most spectacular assists of the past season. A combination executed by Lokomotiv Kuban players took the second place in the ranking.
The second-best play of the year was spotted on March 25 in Samara, in a game where the eponymous home team lost to Lokomotiv Kuban 63-104.
Late in the 4th quarter, the Krasnodar team, after grabbing a rebound on their own backboard, launched a rapid counterattack, and Vsevolod Ishchenko wittingly passed the ball to Danil Sheyanov, who’s basket helped Loko reach the 100th point mark in that game.
