All rivals of Lokomotiv Kuban in the Top 16 of EuroCup are determined. Loko plays in Group G against Italian Dolomiti Energia Trento, Croatian Cedevita, and Montenegrin Buducnost VOLI Podgorica. Our team will hold its first game of the next round against Buducnost on the road on January 3rd.
Lokomotiv Kuban qualified to Top 16 from the first place of Group C winning 10 of 10 games.
The second participant of Group G became Italian Dolomiti Energia Trento. Its fate depended on results of games between its rivals in Group D but it couldn’t take a place lower than third. Due to ASVEL’s win over Gran Canaria, the Italians got to Group G from the second place (6-4).
Cedevita fought for the next round from the third place in Group A (5-5) where it had already played against a Russian team – UNICS Kazan.
The fourth club in Group G is Buducnost VOLI Podgorica (5-5).
