Andrei Vedischev, president of PBC Lokomotiv Kuban

With Pashutin we won Eurocup and first participated in the Euroleague. One of the brightest pages of the latest history of Lokomotiv is associated with him. Evgeny is an experienced and strong coach who knows how to play for the result and knows how to prepare the team for important matches. He must convey his experience, character and return confidence to the team. We are grateful to Bogdan Karaicic, he worked out an important segment, but it was not possible to conduct it stably. In December difficult matches await us and the team should be ready for them.

Evgeny Pashutin returns to Krasnodar, from 2012 to 2014 he was already the head coach of Loko. Under the leadership of Evgeny the railroad won the Eurocup in the 2012/13 season and were one step away from entering the Euroleague playoffs in the 2013/14.

Evgeny Pashutin, head coach of Lokomotiv Kuban

First of all I would like to thank Andrei Vladimirovich Vedischev for the invitation, it is a great honor for me. Lokomotiv Kuban is a team with a long history and excellent fans who are very fond of basketball and are rightfully considered one of the best in Russia. I will do my best to achieve a result. I look forward to starting work, we will try together to make Loko play aggressively, efficiently and win as much as possible!

In 2003 his coaching career began in the youth team of CSKA, after which in 2005 he won the European Championship with the Russian National Team U20. The club career began with the work of an assistant with the famous coaches Dusan Ivkovic and Ettore Messina in CSKA. In his first year as head coach of Spartak St. Petersburg, he achieved with the team fourth place in the Russian championship. After the season at Spartak he returned to CSKA already as head coach and made a gold double, winning the championship and the Cup of Russia. From 2010 to 2012 trained UNICS Kazan, with whom he won the Eurocup. From 2013 to 2015, in parallel with his work in club basketball, he headed the main National Team of Russia. After a career at Loko he returned to UNICS and won silver medals in VTB United League in the 2015/16 season. He spent the first half of the 2018/19 season as the head coach of Cantu, after which returned to Russia and headed Avtodor.
