Firsov is a product of the Rostov and Perm basketball systems. He made his VTB United League debut in 2023, with the 2025/26 season marking his breakthrough. In February, the center set a VTB United League record for efficiency rating among Russian players (46 points), participated in the 2026 All-Star Game, and was shortlisted for the League’s Best Young Player.

His contract with Lokomotiv Kuban is signed by a “3+2” scheme.
