Loko and Alan Williams extend contract

Lokomotiv Kuban extended the agreement with Alan Williams.

Williams was the most effective player in the 2019/20 season. He was one of the leaders of the club and VTB United League for several numbers at once.

In VTB United League Williams became one of two players of the season with a double-double on average per game (11.2 points + 10.1 rebounds).

Alan is the only Loko player to receive the MVP title of the month in VTB United League. Williams received the award for his brilliant game in January.

From the very first matches as part of Lokomotiv Kuban Alan won the respect of teammates and the hearts of our fans. What is very important, he easily adapted to the requirements of European basketball. The desire to extend the contract was mutual. The agreement is designed for two years. I believe that the game that we saw in its execution is not yet the limit of the capabilities of American center. I am sure that Alan is capable of not only demonstrating impressive personal statistics, but also helping the team achieve the desired result.
