Congratulations to Loko-2, the team deservedly became the champion of the Youth League Final Four. That was a home-town affair: At the new basketball academy in Krasnodar, Loko-2 first won the semifinals against Khimki (+30), and then left no chance for the regular season's best team, MBA-2 (+24).
Loko-2 had standout player in the tournament: Kirill Elatontsev, who became MVP of the Final Four. He dominated the rebounding game and made a big contribution to the final win. The 20-year-old center regularly plays for the main team and has played 26 games for Loko this season.
I'd like to thank the management of Lokomotiv-Kuban and club president Andrei Vedischev for their professionalism and high-level organization of the Final Four. The best award for Loko was the title of VTB Youth League champion in the season 2022/23.
