PARMA is a serious opponent for any team of the League. And they started to play tough from the very beginning. The guests shot a lot of threes. Both teams tried to score in transition and didn’t hold the ball in outs. It seemed there were no pauses at all. The teams got 50 points in the first quarter – 30:20 in favor of Loko.
However, despite Loko’s confident game at both ends of the court, PARMA didn’t give up and played aggressively. In the first quarter, Qvale lost his contact lens under the rim while Frank Elegar got eyebrow-cut in the second quarter.
The third period didn’t change the game situation but let us look more attentively at Jonas Maciulis role in Loko. The experienced forward was on fire – he defended perfectly, made blocks and dunks. He had 13 points, 12 rebounds and 25 PIR.
In the fourth quarter, PARMA did its best to avoid devastating defeat. But Loko maintained its rhythm and scored in difficult situations. As a result of it, Loko’s advantage grew to 30 points. Vova Ivlev’s dunk was a great end of the game – 94:64 – Krasnodar is still fighting for Top-3.
