Bob Donewald is the new head coach of Loko

The new head coach of Loko is Bob Donewald Jr. He will replace Vlada Jovanovic.

Bob Donewald was an assistant coach in the Charlotte Hornets, New Orleans Hornets and Cleveland Cavaliers. Also Donewald has coached China national team. They became first at the Asian Games in 2010, and won the 2011 FIBA Asia Championship.

In 2016-2017 Bob Donewald Jr coached the Jilin Northeast Tigers.

Bob Donewald had some serious success as head coach of the China national team and also has an experience in NBA. We think he will help Loko to achieve our goals in the VTB League. We thank Vlade Jovanovic and wish him all the best. At some point he gave us stability and helped Loko win important games. But in the critical part of the season the team has stalled and didn’t show the result. In the last games we lacked of some important tactical decisions and understanding, that needed for win.
